We spend a weekend in Yachats a few weeks back and it was lovely. It had been five or six years since we’d last been and it’s still one of the best little beach towns. The hotel we stayed in was right outside of the little downtown core, is right on the beach, and we had a couple grey whale sightings while we were out there. It was pretty great.
I saw the movie Landline the other night with my friend Emma. It was so dang funny. I didn’t know what to expect exactly, but I laughed a lot. It’s a dramedy of the finest variety and it’s set in the 90s. Talk about nostalgic.
Trifecta is a really good restaurant. I’m late to the game. As usual. Jacqueline’s $1 oysters still do not disappoint. And there was a stunning orange olive oil cake at a dinner party last night.
Fauxnut holes. I’m just going to leave it at that. YUM.
